Originally named as Johannes Möller do Brasil (JMB), the company's
history started in 1976. As a subsidiary of Johannes Möller Hamburg of
Germany, the company served the Brazilian market supplying conveying
systems, pneumatic transportation and pellet and powder silo-systems for
the chemical, petrochemical, cement and mineral industry, with references
in practically all plants of this kind in Brazil, besides having
participated in large projects in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela,
Mexico and United States.

In January 1998 the company was acquired by the German industrial
group ZEPPELIN with more than 50 years of experience in bulk material
handling and storage, changing its name to JMB ZEPPELIN.
ZEPPELIN entered the market aiming at reinforcing its presence in the
chemical and petrochemical areas since JMB already had significant
participation in the recent expansions promoted by the main polymer
manufacturers in the petrochemical complexes of Triunfo, RS, Camaçarí, BA,
and Paulínia, SP besides Zárate and Bahia Blanca in Argentina.

The incorporation to the ZEPPELIN Group and the formalization of a
new technical cooperation that lasted for 8 years increased the activities
in the cement and mineral sector. JMB ZEPPELIN
has consolidated large projects in Latin America, such as Holdercim - MG,
Itapissuma - PI, Cimesa - SE, Votorantim - SP, Loma Negra, among others.
